Young Adult Ministry Opportunities... Young Adult Ministry (YAM) meets Thursday from 7-8:30 PM upstairs in the Education wing Synago room for bible based discussion and fellowship. Sunday School is 10 AM Sunday morning in the same room. Join Goals for God in the FLC for snacks, fellowship, discussion, pick-up basketball and other games. Watch for dates and times. NEW “young at heart” group meets at various days and times. All couples are welcome. Watch for the next meeting date.

Women’s study is Tuesdays at 7:00 PM in the parlor.  The study is Beth Moore’s “A Woman’s Heart: God’s Dwelling Place”. Contact Deborah Love at (803)367-7945 for more information.

Tuesday morning Bible Study for men and women is at 10:00 AM in the MH library.  The study is “Living Like You Belong to God”.

Local Mission Opportunities...

Souper Bowl of Caring will be Sunday, Feb. 5 after both services.  Please donate what you are able in the soup pots held by the youth at the exits.  Canned goods will also be accepted.  Donations will stay here in Rock Hill and will go to The Haven Mens’ Shelter.

Family Promise volunteer meeting Thur., Feb. 2, 7:30 PM in the MH library

Please sign up on the bulletin board to volunteer or contact Courtney at (803)524-4423.  Some volunteers are needed on site and others can do the work from their home.  There is something for everyone. Our first host week is Mar. 25- Apr. 1.

The blood mobile will be at Mt. Holly UMC on Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 4:30-7:30 PM.  If you donated blood at our last drive in Nov (during the tornado), enough time has gone by for you to give again!  We need everyone’s help that is able to give to reach our goal of 20 pints.  Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted.  Tell your friends and sign up at church or by calling Courtney at (803)524-4423.
