What's coming up... Vacation Bible School is July 12-17. Youth will be involved in many ways and your help will be needed to paint scenery and rehearse for story time. Here are the dates and times when adults will be at the church for prep time: Wednesday, July 1, 10 AM- 1 PM, Monday, July 6, 9 AM-3 PM, Tuesday, July 7, 2 PM-6 PM, Wednesday, July 8, 9 AM- 3 PM, Thursday, July 9, 2 PM-6:30 PM, Friday, July 10, 9 AM-until finished, Sunday, July 12-Thursday, July 16 Storytime 5:40-8:00 PM
Rising 6th grade lock-in will be immediately after VBS on Friday, July 17 through Saturday morning, July 18. We will go to Charlotte Friday night for a game of Laser Tag and then come back to the church for a night of fun and fellowship. Pick up by 10:00 AM. Cost is $10.
Camping and whitewater rafting on the Nantahala Friday, August 7 to Saturday, Aug. 8. Rising 6th graders through completed 12th are welcome. Cost is $50 ($25 deposit due July 5)

Tuesdays- FREE movie at Manchester 10 AM and prayer lunch at Chick-fil-A Cherry Rd. 11:45 AM Thursdays- UMYF 6:30 PM-8:30 PM (except July 16 due to VBS)- no supper NO SUNDAY YOUTH ACTIVITIES THIS SUMMER (except Sunday School and worship of course)! |

UMYF parents and friends... UMYF snack suppers are taking a break during the Summer. Watch for Fall sign-ups beginning in early August. |
MH Missions... Estoy Loco Middle School Mission Madness is July 24-26. Rising 6th-9th graders can attend. We will be going to The Children's Home of Winston-Salem in NC. The cost is $90. $35 deposits are due now and the $55 balance is due July 1.
World Vision's 30 Hour Famine was May 8-9. Thank you to all 30 participants and to the congregation for your support. As of June 1 we have raised $1637 which will feed 54 children for 30 days! Way to go!
Spring Fling collection for Tender Hearts Ministries is complete and items were delivered on June 1. Thank you for all of the great donations!
We went to Park Avenue Adult Day Care on Thursday, April 16 to spend time talking and playing games with the clients. It was a true blessing to everyone that participated.
